How It All Started
After years of listening to patients, we noticed something special—people love supporting local independents for the personal service they provide, yet often feel tempted by the big-name offers from chain opticians. That’s why, in July 2015, we opened our first practice on Cornwall Street in Plymouth, bringing together the best of both worlds: friendly, tailored care with competitive prices.
We were thrilled to be the first independent opticians to open in Plymouth city centre since 1984—and we’re still the only one today! Since then, we’ve welcomed over 4,000 patients, from little ones aged 4 to our wonderful seniors at 98, helping everyone from straightforward sight needs to complex, custom-made prescriptions.

February 2020: Opened our second branch on Plymstock Broadway, breathing new life into a previously empty unit.
